Literature Text
It’s a sweet life I’m told
We give it all
To hold us up
Now hold me up into the sun and watch me burn
I come undone
And come apart when all is lost
Madness
Madness that I believe in
A mad world is what we know
That won’t give up the beauty that we know
A mad world is all we know
But still we give it all
Nothing to hold me up
I try to give and all I get is hurt
But its okay
I’ll feel faded today
Spirits I know
I can find some peace
In this world
Through this world
A mad world is what we know
That won’t give up the beauty that we know
A mad world is all we know
But still we give it all
Sweetness and buildup
In my own hair shirt
It’s a sweet life I know
Here in the afterglow
Spirits I know
I can find some peace
In this world
Through this world
A mad world is what we know
That won’t give up the beauty that we know
A mad world is all we know
But still we give it all
Sweetness that burns when I hold
We appall
It’s all set up
And we all fall down when we learn
I come undone
And come apart when all is lost
Madness
Madness that I believe in
See our pain see our beauty all around
See it try so hard to hold us down
Now hold me up into the sun, watch me burn and watch me heal
I Need someone to know that I feel faded today

too tired to sleep and

as I am withering

a phantom formed of memory
no more a thought
than a drifting shadow
beneath
a blossoming sun.

Murder in the Snow
snow settles over
the stirring houses
soon
life will pass
from the windows
into the corners
of the street
a hand waits
in the growing cold
blind palm holding
the light
of the setting moon

Suffering for You
Fall to your knees,
And bleed out your dreams,
Of once truly being free.
Fluttering like a butterfly,
On broken wings of despair.
Can you feel my fragile soul,
As I'm falling through the air.
Can you hear my heart thumping,
As I'm jumping out
Of this lifeless body,
Can you hear my desperate cries,
As I told you how much I loved you.
Don't you see I was broken,
Truly broken on the inside.
Couldn't you see my pain,
As I looked you in the eyes.
Can't you see I needed you,
That I was begging on my knees.

Dang that's deep...
Once I realized it was done as lyrics, I added a melody in my head to follow the flow. The "voice" was doubled, and had a haunted, drifting, and hopeful tone to it. The music instrumental I think.
Well, done.
